MY BOOKS

I currently have two dystopian thrillers available, The Cull and The Gleaning, both of which are available in paperback and for Kindle. I am in the process of writing the third installation to this series and hope to continue writing this story from different viewpoints of new characters. These are pandemic stories, the first two of which were written about three years before COVID-19 appeared on the scene.

In addition to these books, I have an as of yet unpublished Young Adult novel called Alukah that addresses vampirism in a way that breaks free from the tired "teen falls in love with a vampire" and the equally boring "you must be bitten by a vampire to be a vampire" tropes. I am actively seeking representation for this novel.

The world is thrown into a frenzy when an experimental virus is accidentally released. Highly contagious, its victims suffer a fate worse than death. Bodies ravaged by fever, their numbers increase at a startling rate as they mindlessly roam the streets infecting all with whom they come into contact until their inevitable and swift deaths.

Frankie, a businesswoman with a young family, and Henry, a bachelor well on his way to becoming a grumpy old man, find themselves caught in the fallout. Terror the new way of life, each struggle to survive as society crumbles around them. Hundreds of miles away from one another, they find themselves on a journey to Los Alamos, New Mexico with hopes of finding a cure that, unbeknownst to them, resides within their veins.

It’s been less than a month since the most catastrophic pandemic in recorded history decimated the world's population. Survivors are beginning to pick up the pieces of their lives while navigating their horrific new world. The infected are still roaming the streets, ripping apart those unlucky enough to cross their paths, but something has changed. They are not dying as quickly as they had when the virus was first released.

In an Us versus Them world, survivors swiftly learn that it is not the infected or even the virus they should fear the most, but those most like themselves. Tess and Henry have picked up a passenger with a dangerous secret while, less than a mile away, Bunmi resolves to do all she can to create a vaccine.
